The welsh poppy is a yellow to light orange perennial wildflower.

It is native to damp woodlands in the South West England and Wales but can be found all over the UK as it is so popular in gardens. It is very popular with bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Welsh poppies are not actual poppies. They are a from a genus that has many of the same characteristics of poppies. They are very easy to grow and will self seed at the end of the growing season.

Welsh Poppys are very easy to grow from seed. You can buy the seeds from Amazon here.
