Ragged robin is a widespread but not very common wildflower in the UK. The petals of its pink flowers split into four at the base giving its the ragged look.

It loves growing in damp boggy soil. I found this group growing beside a river estuary that floods on very high tides.

Ragged robin is a great addition to any garden. Pollinators love them and the are easy to grow if you have damp or boggy ground in your garden. You can get them from Amazon here.
